I have diabetes and having a dry mouth has always been a problem for me. The corners of my mouth can get cracked, and I get mouth sores. My doctor suggested a different brand, which really did not work well and tasted really bad. A friend of mine suggested I try Orazyme, and I experienced immediate results. Sometimes, my mouth gets so dry that it is hard to swallow. I feel like I am choking. In the past, I was told to just keep rinsing my mouth with water or drink water or even try chewing gum to keep saliva going just to stop that horrible feeling. I first started getting canker sores when I was a child. As I got older and find myself dealing with more stress, the canker sores seem to have gotten worse. Did a TV show last Thursday 13 hours, music video yesterday, love it, it has been working really well. I am only chewing gum in my car, only out of habit. I found that I am trying to cut down on pop intake although it's been hard because I do it out of habit, but now I am going to be able to cut down on it because of this. I love it, it is wonderful. I am using it 3 times a day. I love the case, I had fun with my neighbor on the name, it doesn't matter what the name is, it is good, I really really like it so far. I love the packaging, the instructions are very clear, I like that it is just a hint of mint, it is not to minty, it is just enough. As far as dry mouth goes, it's only been one day but I have not had a problem, Listerine is too strong, this doesn't have alcohol which I like. I am surprised that it's having some effects, I mouth breath, so when I wake up in the morning have a very dry mouth. I am surprised that I can take some and it really does help. It keeps my mouth moist, over time it has had cumulative effects, although I am not sure if it's supposed to. I usually don't use mouth wash because most of them have alcohol and this does not. It tastes really good. It has been hot in the valley so I have been drinking a lot of water, so I really cannot tell if it has been helping with dry mouth, but it tastes really good and it initially has a really good sensation in the mouth that is unique from other mouth washes I have tried. I have to tell you that I think Orazyme is amazing. I have been using it daily, especially when I bit the side of my mouth while eating and tore it to shreds. As a patient recovering from neck radiation and surgery (missing all lymph and salivary glands on the right side of my throat), dry mouth is an unbelievable problem. Unfortunately, there is no real medical solution. I've tried several prescription medications, as well as physical therapy. I've consulted my oncologist, dentist and oral surgeon. There are only two OTC products readily available and their benefit is very brief. Orazyme provides a "normal" sensation in my mouth for quite a long period of time. The relief lasts longer the more I use it. I would highly recommen it for people suffering from dry mouth. Obviously my circumstance is exceptional, as I can't replace the salivary glands.
