What is Orazyme?
Orazyme is a unique product line created by Dr. Fresh, as an enzymatic delivery system that helps maintain natural moisture balance in the human mouth by acting on and selectively inhibiting the ‘bad’ bacteria and improving overall oral health. a) LYSOZYME
Is a naturally occurring protein found in many organisms including plants, insects, birds, reptiles and mammals. In Mammals, Lysozyme has been isolated from tears, urine, saliva and milk. Biologically, Lysozyme attacks the cell wall of certain bacteria. Lysozyme gradually weakens the cell wall by nicking it in numerous spots. When the osmotic pressure within the cell wall is too great for the weakened wall, the bacteria will burst. Due to the cell wall lysing, the enzyme was named appropriately, Lysozyme. Lysozyme has been found to effectively destroy vegetative forms of Clostridia bacteria.
b) AMYLASE & AMYLOGLUCOSIDASE
Amylase and Amyloglucosidase are dextrinizing enzymes, which can break down complex foods
containing sugars. Sugars in the mouth cause cavities. Breaking down these sugars can help in reducing these problems and helps prevent the growth of bad bacteria.
c) GLUCOXIDASE
Is a naturally occurring microbial enzyme and is widely used in food applications to extend the shelf life of food products. Glucoxidase reacts with available oxygen, depriving aerobic bacteria of their growth.
d) PEPTIZYME
It is one of the most potent anti-inflamatory enzymes and very effectively works in controlling dental infections.
